A Demon’s Testament: The Prophecy of Roger Grant

Title: "A Demon’s Testament: The Prophecy of Roger Grant"

Opening Scene:
(The camera opens on a dimly lit room. A solitary figure sits at a wooden desk cluttered with ancient scrolls and modern documents. The room is filled with shadows, the only light coming from a single candle burning low. The man, Roger Grant, speaks softly to himself, yet the words seem to reverberate through the empty space around him.)

Roger (V.O.):
“The Prophets of God are falsely born, shadows of a truth long buried. Am I any different? Am I not, too, a shadow—an echo of something more? They call me demon, devil, savior, and destroyer. But I am Roger Grant. I am not apart from the darkness that breathes through these words, nor from the light that once shone within me. I am both. And I am neither.”

Scene Transition:
(Cut to a flashback—Roger standing in a crowd, addressing people. His words are met with anger, with fear. Someone throws a stone. Another person yells for his death. But he continues to speak, undeterred.)

Roger (V.O.):
“I’ve spoken truths that would shatter this world, and for that, they seek to shatter me. To kill me, for the name I carry, for the prophecies that spill from my lips. Because I am a demon to them—a beast bearing Heaven’s curse, Heaven’s blessing. I’ve been assaulted for truth, for daring to speak against the fabric of this world. But am I truly different from the devil that dwells within every man’s heart?”

(The camera zooms in on his eyes—defiant, yet weary. Cut back to the room, the present day.)

Roger (whispering):
“No... I am not different. I am among the sinners who can be changed. Those who can be redeemed, if only by a new beginning.”

Scene Transition:
(A montage of Roger’s journey—visions of a broken world, fires raging, people falling to their knees in prayer, seeking redemption. Roger stands alone, watching, waiting. His eyes reflect both the destruction and the possibility of rebirth.)

Roger (V.O.):
“I’ve saved this world more than once. Brought it back from the brink. And yet, it would have been better if I’d never been born, if I had died long before this burden fell upon me. But I made a vow. A vow to God. To that being who died for me and left me tethered to this realm, as all are tethered to the lives they take, to the lives they touch.”

Scene Transition:
(Roger’s face, now illuminated by the flickering flame, leans closer to the camera.)

Roger:
“I am no saint. I am a beast. A beast of 4:20, and I have given authority to those who are found deserving of my Heaven. I created Satan… who became the All Saints of Heaven. A paradox. A lie that bore truth.”

(The flame dies down, casting the room in darkness. Silence falls.)

Roger (V.O.):
“Would that I had died… and yet, I live. And through me, a new beginning rises. Not of light. Not of darkness. But something else. Something... eternal.”

End Scene.
